What Happened to Dark Sector?

For whatever reason, the game Dark Sector popped into my head at 3:32 AM.

I was wondering if anyone knew what happened to this game? The reason why I'm asking is because I'm pretty sure everyone saw the trailer for this game because it was billed as the "first look" at next-gen graphics for the PS3 and the then-named Xbox 2.

It debuted at E3 2005, but didn't show up at this year's E3. The game is scheduled for a Q3 2007 release, which is indeed far away, but I'm surprised Digital Extremes didn't update the public about this game at all.

For me at least, this trailer is what got me excited about next-gen. The graphics were stunning, and I was in awe when I first saw it.

i think EB still has it listed for this year for the 360 but its been 3 weeks since i checked.

The devs are still working on it, obviously, and probably not going to talk about it much until its release nears.
