My xbox broke..need new one..for like..cheap

My xbox broke. So I need a new one for CHEAP as I can get it, possibly free.

I checked out llama mods deal where you get $50 for a broken box or something.

anyone else know of anything else?

The Llama deal is variable. They do excellent work and are very reputable, but how much they give you varies wildly depending on what version your Xbox components are, and what exactly is broken with it.

Possibly free? A working one? Good luck with that. I paid $40 for a broken one once, but it came with a lot of accessories.

eBay prices for working Xbox's vary pretty big. I've seen working ones go for $40-$100 in the past month. I don't think MS makes new ones any more, either.

GameCrazy's deal isn't bad, plus you get 30 days I think for used console warranty. You also get 12 free rentals.

I know that I'm going to be flamed to hell and back for this, but you could possibly use the EB games/Game Informer coupon and trade it in with the system trade-in boost, if it's booting up. That should almost cover a used Xbox from them, maybe use the trade 3 extra $10 a couple of times with some lame games to get enough for a new one.
