I was just browsing through the forums and I came up a thread about a free 12-month EGM offer, so I'm giving you other Canadians the heads-up on it ;)

One problem: It hasn't been confirmed if it applies to Canadian residents, or only residents inside the US.

Oh and I'm pretty sure that it does apply to ... well anyone outside the US, cause at the bottom it says expect 8-10 weeks or something for your first issue if outside the US.

They add a year to your subscription. At one point I had about 5 free years, its still coming till 2008.

Perhaps it's kind of odd, but either way, thanks OP! I don't even live in Canada, but this thread caught my attention though the original one didn't. Now I'm signed up!

I posted the link to the original thread since it has all the details listed there. If anyone had questions about the deal, the person that originally posted the deal will be better able to answer them.

Plus, I didn't want the OP to feel like I took credit for the offer or something ;)

Ah there we go, was racking my brain bout it, thanks for the link buddy, I wish there was a confirmation email, i kinda want to go back on the site and just sign up a few more times to make sure ;)

Did you guys use the first link from the game Expo ? Do you need to register for the expo for the free subscription to go through ?

I tried that one a while ago . It didn't work.
