So Im planning on getting the Dissidia psp bundle as I traded my 2000 to upgrade to the 3000 and have no interest in a psp go. However knowing that the last bundle I got the games came in a cardboard thing and no case I was considering also preordering another copy of Dissidia so I can have a complete version and thus trade the umd only one back in. But wait on Gamestops website its shows two pictures of the product so Im thinking hmm maybe this bundle is different and comes with the cases or at least the cover art and I can supply a case because they're showing a picture of it. So I call gamestop and they tell me they have no idea at first. And then she's telling me that I get a bonus cover art for preordering. After trying to explain to the lady I preordered the system bundle not just the game she finally tells me to call sony as they should know and she has no idea. Ok so I email sony about this and heres there wonderful response-
Thank you for writing us. We apologize for the inconvenience. SCEA and its affiliated companies are regularly engaged in extensive research and development in many areas of the computer entertainment industry. Hence, we cannot comment on future PlayStation(R) developments, projects, or products. We appreciate your enthusiasm and continued interest in our products, and hope you understand our position. You may however, visit our website at http://www.us.playstation.com/ and view our current press releases and future updates. Ok so even though they announced this bundle officially in May 09, they have no idea what Im talking about either even though heres there official press release from then http://www.us.playstation.com/News/PressReleases/513 Lol, man have to say that Im just going to go with my original assumption and get another copy of Dissidia but what horrible service to say the least. |

The psp doesnt have any special art, so just buy a stand alone one and get the game separate.

You really thought a random Gamestop minimum wage employee would know something that you have been unable to find out from searching the internet?
The bundle deal is probably requested by Gamestop Corp, put together by the marketing people between Sony and Square-Enix, and then quietly forgotten about beyond the generic press release. All the other bundles just tossed the games in sleeves, so that's the safe bet. The employee at the store won't have any idea until someone opens up the bundle. I don't think you can hold it against the employee at Gamestop. They have zero control. But Sony? Sony. The people who get those customer questions probably don't know either. |

I just called Gamestop and Sony yesterday about the same thing. When the first tier defaulted to reading the box back to me (after I had explained that I have seen the box and it doesn't provide the information I'm looking for) I tried to escalate to a supervisor, and no one was interested in being helpful. I'm just hoping someone posts some unboxing pics soon.
