There has been so many Batman games over the years. Some of which was good, and some of which sucked to no end. Neither of those is the case for Batman Arkham Asylum because it is simply amazing.

Pro's
As corny as it may sound. You actually feel like Batman. The gadgets, costume, stealth, ect.
The game is broken down into several parts. You have the stealth portion of the game, and you have a beat em-up/adventure style to the game. I think everything together mixes extremely well, and makes it where it won't get old fast like some games do. The graphics are amazing. The detail, and lighting are spot on. The voice acting was some of the best I've ever seen. The cutscenes was done extremely well, and made each character come alive. This game has a lot of replay value.
I can't say enough good things about the game.

Con's
If you want to collect everything in the game you will really have to put in the hours, and have a lot of patience. Some of the stealth areas in the game seemed extremely hard.

Verdict:

4.5/5

Retail Price: 59.99
Suggested price: 49.99

I feel no matter how good a game is. No game deserves a perfect score.

I however rented it. Its one of the best rentals I've ever had no doubt.

If anyone really collects trophies or achievements. Then this game is for you. I didn't get them all or plan on it. This type of game seems like it would be fun to try to get everything.

They say it is the best Batman game ever made. I'm sure there is a few people that would argue against that, but even me being a old school gamer agree it is the best Batman game so far.

Definitely not the best game ever made but I do agree with it being the best Batman game ever made. I also agree with it might make you like Batman. I've been thoroughly enjoying the game.

Hate to admit it,but it was a 2 day rental. I was hooked on the game, and beat it within 2 sessions.
