Ok, so there is alot of heated discussion about which game is better. Most say Call of Duty World at War is all about sub-machine guns, and is extremeley unbalanced. This is true. They say that Infinity Ward made a better game then Treyarch, this is somewhat true. They key is that they made a more balanced game than Treyarch, but in the end Treyarch was the better developer because they have patched when needed, and released tons of DLC. There is also one last Map pack coming soon. (Map Pack 4), I only buy for zombies since it is the only part of the game that interests me, the map is rumored to be in Area 51.
Since my blogs have a theme of me asking a question at the end... ...I want to know which Call of Duty you like better? It could be any, not just 4 and 5. ...Have you pre-ordered Modern Warefare 2? Which Verision? I have, and it is definitley not the Prestige edition with those goofy goggles. Pic Here:  |

The reason why Infinity Ward stopped supporting MW1 is because they wanted all hands to work on MW2.

@kilm , I didn't think about that... IW recently released a patch slowing down the pistol fire rate, which sucks because not as many people have modded controllers as they think. IF they can change something as miniscule as that , then they can change the famous imbalance known as the M16A4.

I'd have to say I prefer 4, but not by all that much. For me, the only thing that made WAW a bit more tedious were the damn grenades which enemies would constantly pepper you with like rice after a wedding.
I haven't pre-ordered MW2, but I'll stick with the bare-bones version. A metal box, art book, and other game don't seem worth the extra price. At least COD4 came with a DVD. |

JMEPO, come on over and give me a kick in the nuts. I preordered the Prestige Edition. I only did it was because I had the Amazon 50% off coupon so it was only $75. I know the googles won't work great but it will look cool on the shelf.

I will not lie that I was once interested in purchasing the prestige edition of the game.After, weeks of consideration I will be buying the regular edition of MW2 and a pair military grade night vision goggles.

Infinity Ward is a vastly superior development house and their versions of Call of Duty simply destroy the attempts of any other. Though WaW was respectable.
I ordered the prestige edition for PS3 because I can afford to and I'm a sucker for military stuff, even if it is cheap NVG's. And I can afford it. I will also be getting the normal version on PC. |

there is still cheating going on in cod4 and has not been fixed that I am aware of. cod waw has just about everything fixed except lag but every game you play online might have lag at one point or another. I prefer waw as it's gotten more support, dlc and online play is better to me.
