Calculator wire alternative?

![]() About half a year ago, I bought a pair of the Turtle Beach X1’s to use for my Xbox 360 and as a microphone for my laptop. Then, the wire that goes from the headphones to the controller (also known as the “puck”) broke for no reason at all. I got pretty frustrated when I saw the replacement for it was ten bucks. What if the replacement broke? Then I would buy another one? BULLSHIT! When I started my sophomore year, my math class required a Texas Instruments TI-83 calculator. When I bought one, it came with some wire that would connect to another calculator. This wire collected dust for one whole year until I figure I might as well try the wire on the headset because I was desperate. Plugged it in and it works fine, I was amazed by this. Of course there is no volume control, so if you have loud friends like I do, you might want to find another option. But, I’m glad the headset works again.
