Hey, I know this is not a blog about a game and all...but at least you can get a look in-to my life, a user of the community and perhaps become a friend?
![]() Anyways, this weekend was something of a new or once-in-a-while thing for me and that is why I want to blog about it; maybe I can look back on this in the far future ha ha ha Starting with Saturday October 3rd, 2009 I worked 2:30PM to closing, which means I wait for the orders for the customers to stop and close down everything in the kitchen; I work at a 4-diamond/stars restaurant as a Kitchen Helper / Buffet runner, I was able to get out at 11PM I then went straight to ZONE C of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche; Scotiabank's annual evening to sun-rise art festival within Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Where I volunteer to help out / work under Chef Jamie Kennedy for Tom Dean's exihibition for 12AM - 6AM, which was pretty neat, this exihibition titled 'Sausage & Fire' was about rationing which in turn is also about sharing, 'Sausage & Fire' spots where giving out Sausage on a stick made by Chef Jamie Kennedy, organic hot chocolate also made by Chef Jamie Kennedy, blankets & tin mugs with the word 'MERCY' on them (the blanket was very good quality!), What I did was cut & cook the sausage and explain about the exihibition, I had a-lot of fun that night, there was a-lot of good looking women as well, there was a few that flirted with me =), I saw people from my high-school days as well! If anyone went and think they might of saw me, HOLLA IN THE COMMENTS =3 After the Nuit Blanche event I had to work again at 8AM but seeing how the event was close to my house, I went home and took 30 minutes to shower & re-fresh myself to go to work, again I worked 7AM-1PM, I got off early because I had to go to Networking Party that had big-timers from the Food Industry in Canada, as a student and new-comer to the industry, I have to meet as much people as I possibily can as given oppourtunies! I was surprised that everybody was laid-back and was given advice or just talked, this lasted 3PM-6PM, I got home at 6:30PM and I talked to my friends on msn for a while and passed out till the next morning around 7ish...I woke up and prepared myself to go to the one class on Monday, and thank god that it started at 3PM! Let me re-cap No Sleep 2:30PM-11PM to 12AM-6AM to 7AM-1PM to 3PM-6PM P.S. I was planning to pull an all-nighter on friday till saturday too, studying!!! lucky I took that time to sleep! ![]() - MiNuN =) |
