I had the idea to make a list and edit together a video of my favorite 10 games that came out in the 2000s. I'm going to post it by Thanksgiving, so people can ask/give them in time for Christmas.

Post your top 10, in order, because the video is going to be in 3 parts: My list, Explicit D's list, and a community favorites list. #1 Gets 5 points, #2 gets 4 points, #3 gets 3 points, #4 gets 4 points, and #5-#10 each get 1 point (the scoring could change).

4.Peggle(Have on PC but will get on 360 soon)
5.Halo 3 ODST
6.Rock Band 2
7.SSX 3
8.Call of Duty 2 ( Main reason this is here is I got it when I got my 360 and was my 1st console shooter)
9.'Splosion Man
10.Viva Pinata

Borderlands, Brutal Legend, and CoD:MWF2 might very well make this list.

Based off of play time I would go with.

1. Halo (3, then 2, then 1 for me... just giving them all #1 to clear up space, count this however you like.)
2. Final Fantasy IV (DS Remake if that counts)
3. Dance Dance Revolution (any or all)
4. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
5. Soulcalibur
6. Animal Crossing
7. Banjo Kazooie
8. Mario Kart Double Dash
9. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
10. Resident Evil 4

If I had to go by how much time and effort I put into a game here is my list.

1. Orange Box (Mostly Team Fortress 2)
2. Call of Duty: World at War
3. Gears of War
4. Halo 3
5. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
6. Battlefield (all of them)
7. Wii Sports
8. Pokemon Diamond
9. Fable
10. New Super Mario Bros.

It's really hard to put them in order, and I probably shouldn't put the two newest games first, but...

1. Fallout 3
2. Mario Galaxy
3. Resident Evil 4
4. Kingdom Hearts
5. Dragon Quest VIII
6. Tales of Symphonia
7. Shadow of the Colossus
8. Castlevania Aria of Sorrow
9. Metal Gear Solid 2
10. Eternal Darkness

1. Orange Box(My favorite fps of all time plus Portal and Team Fortress 2!)
2. Fallout 3(I liked it more than Oblivion)
3. Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal(My favorite R&C game so far)
4. Uncharted Drakes Fortune (One of the best games I have ever played)[
5. GTA IV or Vice City (One of my favorite series of all time liked both these a ton)
6. Unreal Tournament 2k4 (Die hard pc gamer who logged countless hours playing online and at LAN tourneys)
7. Star Wars KOTR (Best Star Wars game since x-wing vs tie fighter)
8. Rock Band (Best music game ever better than any GH)
9. Bioshock (Another excellent single player game)
10. Dead Rising(The first 360 game I really loved!)

Honorable mentions

COD4, Battlefield 1942, Eternal Darkness, Diablo 2, Gears of War, and God of War.

Warcraft 3 and WoW could be up there.
Diablo 2 barely makes the cut, coming out in 2000.

Starcraft? Sorry, it's great, but it came out in 1998.

Personally, I could see WoW making the list (since it is pretty popular; even if I don't like it much). I definitely enjoy the hell out of War3 and Diablo2, but I'm not sure how well they really stack against some of the other games with hindsight. Neither is as good as Starcraft.
