Regardless to say, last year's Black Friday on CAG was phenomenal. Hell, i didnt even get to bite on a lot of the deals (I'M LOOKING AT YOUR 3AM EST AMAZON!!!) - but just the wealth of B&M deals, as well as those online, got me giddy like a school girl. For those that weren't here last year... well... all i can say is you missed THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR!

Amazon was the leader with a pre black friday sale that had some good deals, but they rocked the house with their black friday deals, including lots of new released games for $30-40 bucks. They were hard to get in on though since they went quickly, but amazon kept the pace up with new deals every day of the weekend, and there were lots of older titles for $10-20 bucks each. Other retailers followed suit. While no one matched Amazon, retailers such as gamefly, target, best buy, and many others stepped up to the plate with a ton of good deals. This all brings me to my anxiety attacks over waiting for this year's black friday.

I have quite seriously been just saving money up for a huge spending spree this black friday, but certain games are making me want to pull from that money now. Uncharted 2 and Demon Souls are two games I want very bad. Cross Edge (yes, i know they say its bad) and Eternal Sonata have been hot wants on my list for a LONG TIME. Batman AA and Xmen Wolverine turned out to be excellent games and they have been large wants for awhile. Lastly, the recently released Borderlands has been released, and it appears to be one of those games I had absolutely no interest in at all, but after watching the gametrailers review, i think I'm hooked. Shooter plus RPG? My two favorite genres? Crazy Weapons and tons of upgrading/leveling up? EPIC WIN!!!!

Seriously, borderlands is the game just making me want to say it and spend all the money i got saved up right now. Despite having a large backlog, i want these now! The $15 amazon credit for Call of duty modern warfare 2 has already pushed me to the edge to preorder that, but the others games keep tempting me day in and day out!

Why don't I just buy them already? I mean i have the money? Right? Yes, yes i do have the money, but i'm really scared at the feeling that ill pay full price (or maybe $45 shipped each for used copies) only for a month later i'll see them on amazon's black friday sale for $40 some bucks new. Plus i could add ECA discounts and Prime shipping. It wouldnt get better then that. Who knows what games might be in other retailer's sales as well? Besides Demon Souls and Cross Edge (since these NIS and Atlus games never drop price), i can kinda feel almost every game i want having a good chance of showing up somewhere on black friday on the cheap.

Like i said, i may just look for used copies, $45 shipped, so if they did appear somewhere on black friday, i would only lose 5-10 dollars, not $20+. On the same page, they might not show up anywhere on Black Friday? Granted, i would just buy them anyway, but i would have wished I didn't wait.

What's your guys thoughts? Wait, or give in to the temptation! LOL
