Not going too lie I am shocked at stuff like this, it is just amazing, 1 in a million? And it is just such an odd... thing, like what happens to you. Sad story indeed, best of luck to her, and her husband.

Talk about bad luck. That was a struggle to watch. Very sad. So, I guess you're also doing the "Daily Boo Hoo" from now on?

I think I remember somebody posting this last week. I and many of my co-workers had just gotten flu shots the day before, so I got to gleefully tell everyone the horrible story after.
Best part was, I work with an ex-cheerleader who very much resembles this lady, so she was extra disturbed. |

with all due respect...the only reason she even on tv is because she attractive...1 in a million right?? 300 million people in the US or so...where are those 300+ people at?????

aleraiders:
Americans are hearing just 22.4 million doses of flu vaccine are available, which is posed as a vast shortage. But news sources indicate only about 11 million Americans have been vaccinated to date, an underwhelming public response to the government's massive crusade to vaccinate up to 70–80% of the population (210–240 million Americans).
http://www.lewrockwell.com/sardi/sardi130.html So that would predict that 11 people got it if the odds worked out as expected. Then of those 11, they would have to get noticed/be willing to be on TV... |

It does make a bit of sense that the jerkiness would smooth over when she's running. The brain is a bit more occupied when you run that when you're just simply walking about (having to judge proper balance, causing the muscles to move faster, etc etc).
That's the thing of neurological disorders, that a lot of them have obscure causes, and most are near-impossible to treat at the moment. Just look at Parkinson's disease and how long it took for something that remotely resembles a cure to show up, much less widely administrated. Reminds me of the controversy behind the death of Bruce Lee. |

I'm not a fan of flu shots myself, however this does make me wonder if it would have been triggered later in her life naturally. Sucks just the same though.
I do agree with aleraiders in that if she was not "amazingly beautiful" there would be no story. |
