Gordon Freeman's Airboat Challenge Unleashed Frenzy the Gathering 2 |

The Force Unleashed lasted all of 3 days, and that is not a bad thing. Traversing a 60$ game in 3 sessions can hurt (Ghost Busters, Batman), but when you pick a game up for 9.99, it's just right. Finally a Star Wars game where I don't need to wrap a rope around the feet of an AT-AT! You can only do that so many times. While the level design was a bit confusing and the controls a bit loose, they actually let you use the Force. The force abilities made the game extremely fun.
I had picked up a copy Of Fuzion Frenzy 2 on Goozex with the intention of playing it exclusively for Gamer Points. Torture was not my first thought when I went to the local CEX to purchase a second copy. I gifted the game to a friend, to play me online. I've never seen a game make people this pissed off, including myself. The mini-games are almost passable, but the forced cut-scenes and awful announcer induce violence in the most calmest of souls. With force completed I tossed in another titular unleashed. The Sonic game is hard to take. At first I was royally pissed I was being made to play this awful ware-wolf platforming to get to the good Sonicy parts. Five hours later I discovered that the Ware-wolf levels were actually well designed and the Sonic levels were punishingly hard. I really don't know how to feel about the whole fraking game. Even the menus confuse me. Friends came over on Saturday allowing me to use the dusty plastic instruments to acquire a few band achievements. Finally got that plane I wanted. Good times. I still suck at Rockband. The 360 version of Magic has taught me to play, something that 10 years with cards never did. I reached a point with the game where I started to understand, and just this weekend beat the first campaign boss. I know it's easy, but it was a big deal to me. At a friends recommendation I started half-Life 2. I bought the Orange box for portal, which was worth it, but never got to HL2. I played Half Life on the Dreamcast, but that was all. I'm not wowed by anything so far. It's old, I give it credit for doing lots of things first, but it has yet to thrill me. Story and pacing are not as good as I expected. I also did not expect to spend more than 2 hours driving a boat. An air-boat. Just got to Ravenholm, we'll see what's up. Finally, I sucked it up and played Call of Duty. Spoiler? The controversy was deserved man, I didn't want to kill innocent civilians. The attack on U.S. soil also rubbed me the wrong way. How about the torture? I really don't like the killy killy realistic non sci-fi games, and this is why. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm going to finish and send it back to gamefly without keeping it. The only black Friday sale i jumped on was L4D at dell, because I need to buy on credit. Although, let us see if this Tekken wireless bundle drops below 60 bones.... |

Man, Fuzion Frenzy 2 was total crap. The announcer guy was laughably bad, and the entire presentation was terrible. Plus the game was complete crap. I once played a game where I won every single minigame in the tournament, but still ended in second because the game kept giving one of the computer players 4x multipliers. I promptly threw my controller at the wall (one of the few times I have thrown a controller), breaking my headset in the process. It was complete and total BS.

I know, right? I bought like 4 cheap copies for my friends so we could easy 1k it. They still hate me for it. Those cards are a giant FU. I still haven't completed that crapfest.
