I am currently not buying any video games. The main reason is the holder I keep my backlog in is full, secondary reasons include lack of money and the fact that I found 9 old games still in the shrink wrap when I moved recently. Games will be purchased only when games are beaten from now on.
Key: Backlog (Rearranged for 2010) <Will resume buying games after the above are beaten> PS Final Fantasy IX ($.88 on Wherehouse.com) PS Final Fantasy Origins ($.88 on Wherehouse.com) 2010 Additions XBLA/PSN/VC & WiiWare Misc - Earn more Trophies/Achievements. Random Info |

OMG dude, I thought my backlog was bad... I wouldn't even bother trying to earn more trophies/achievements until you get through at least half of this backlog. The amount of RPGs on here are gonna screw you over the most lol.

Impressive. With a collection like that, you can probably be stranded on a deserted island for a few years and still not be able to complete them all.
Now I feel less guilty about my backlog. |

After reading all that I think I will have to change the meaning of backlog. Looks like you got some good deals there. If you only knew you weren't going to finish them until later you could have gotten some better deals. lol.

C'mon. Be realistic here with your backlog. I could list about a hundred games that I've bought over the years as a gamer that I didn't invest that much time into or haven't played at all. Will you really play through all the Guitar Heroes, Buzz, other party games, and Wii Fit?
Also, if you want cheap Nerd Points go with Dead Space and Eat Lead: Matt Hazard. Hazard isn't a great game, but I got all but two achievements in 8 hours of the story mode. If I read online about the code to unlock EXPERT difficulty, I probably would have gotten a 100% with it. |

For the record... games you don't own cannot be included in your backlog.
Its against the Official American Video Game Backlog Association of America (or OAVGBAA for short) rules to do so. |

What liberaltugboat said. How on Earth can you count a game you don't own in your backlog? That's the difference between a "backlog" and a "wishlist". By the way, you have some duplicates.

How can a game you haven't purchased yet be on your backlog? I thought backlog was meant for games you OWN, not plan on owning.

Is it legal to plan on adding to a backlog? If that's the case, everyone's backlog just jumped at least three games for this year, if not more like in my case.
![]() Also, looking at the list and how it says you won't start buying games again till you beat the ones above that statement, I'm wondering how you haven't beaten the Left 4 Dead games yet, especially the first one. Just take a saturday and knock both of them off. You can do the first one after breakfast and finish by lunch, then get the second done before dinner. Mass Effect and Dragon Age, however...well, good luck with that. |
