Well guys, anyone who has seen my blog for the past couple weeks knows I am in a weight loss challenge at work.
I am totally pumped for this week's weigh-in!!! I am down almost a whole belt size, even after losing 8lbs. last week. It is starting to get a lot less shitty outside and I can get out and start triathlon training!!! I am just excited because I think I could vault into first place this week. I'm not expecting 8 lbs again, but maybe 4 or 5 realistically. Dammit for buying 3 pairs of size 40 jeans and several XXL shirts over the past 3 months!!! Wish me luck guys, the update will be tomorrow evening/night. |

I'm hoping for the best for you still! Hopefully seeing you're doing so well will help me get into gear... But it's just hard when it's always 10-20 degrees outside and snowy..

Have you ever looked into book called Eat to Live? I've lost over 25 lbs with it and I don't really follow it that strictly.

This weight loss at work thing reminds me of that episode of the Office lol.
Best of luck with your weightloss. I'm trying to get fit, but it's really hard to get into a routine. The thing with me though is that instead of losing weight, I'm trying to gain muscle weight. I need to gain weight because I'm under weight because of an extremely high metabalism. And before anyone says I'm lucky about my high metabalism, try living as the small as kid who is constantly picked on. It's the exact same a being a fat kid who's picked on, just different circumstances. |

Agreed. After I lose some fat, I'm going to start building muscle. I'm doing it now, but I know I can do so much more if I can shed at least 25 more. That would get me to about 225, and I think I'd have a lot less leg pain when I go jogging and bike riding.
Hope it's nice out tomorrow, I'd like to go on a 2-4 mile walk. |
