Just a post to show some games, that are mega cheap now and that I think you should be playing! (note: I live in the UK, so your prices may vary on your location)




Skate 2, is a great game. I have a ton of fun with it and is well worth the small cost. You'll probably get a good 10 hours out of this game.







Uncharted is probably the most know franchise on the PS3 and with the sequel being a huge success you should play this game as it is awesome.









If your looking for a game that is pure (Yeah, I did it) fun then this is for you.









This game is awesome, GET IT! Enough said.









A bit of an old release know, but it does hold up. If you like Fallout then play this.









Regarded as the best deal of this generation. A ton of good games, this is a must buy.









This game is insanely cheap now, and I had a ton of fun with it. I really like this game.









Halo 3, a lot of people despise this game but the online component of this game is awesome, it's mega cheap now aswell.









I think it's better than the sequel and a great console exclusive. You can get it for a really good price aswell.









Before Mass Effect 2 people regarded this a generation best and if you haven't play the sequel yet because of price then you should definitely buy this.









I love the burnout, and the guys over at Criterion have supported this game to the max. It's a great game and with a ton of dlc on offer the play time can be never ending fun.









I was so, so on the game but it's so cheap now that it's worth the price.









This game scared the shit out of me, but it's super fun. It's so cheap now, you should have this in your collection. But a word of advice, don't play before you go to sleep









This game is dirt cheap, and a ton of fun.









Bioshock is awesome, and with the release of the sequel the original has plummeted in price.

Good blog! I've actually been meaning to buy Skate 2, Pure, and Red Faction Guerrilla.


I would also like to add Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise and Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. Both games are dirt cheap and offer lots of fun.

I just picked up Red Faction (I loved the first two on PS2), and also just picked up Dead Space. Both were on the cheap via Amazon Sellers. Burnout was a blast! Until, I got burned out on it.

DarkSiders should be added as a foot note, since it is only $40, and comes with a coupon to get Red Faction Guerrilla for free. A REAL CAG must buy has to be a great deal, too!

I disagree on Uncharted. I've played the demo for both games and thought they were lacking.

I enjoy them, but if you have one you don't necessarily need the other. They're quite similar but if your not worried about multiplayer than I make the plunge and get the original Uncharted.

Red Faction was just bad. It did not live up to the hype, the developers were lazy and did not fix problems.

The gameplay was unbalanced and unpolished. Rocket spamming turned into the main gameplay aspect.

From the beta, I thought the game could be worth it, but the full game ended up being worse. The multiplayer is just a noob fest and the single player is just grinding repetitive missions for completion.

Besides that,

Left 4 Dead is definitely a good game. Have not played the sequel but L4D1 has good replay value and everything. Multiplayer is competitive and fun.

If you want Halo 3 for the multiplayer aspect, just get ODST. It has all the maps and a Reach Beta Key.
The only reason to have Halo 3 is for the single player, which is not very fun by yourself and only worth the achievements.

Good list overall. Just wanted to review certain games I played off it though.

I disagree. I love Fallout, and couldn't stand Oblivion. Completely humorless and straight faced. I can only shout "Huzzah!" to make myself chuckle so many times. Not my cup of tea.

A better way to put it: "If you liked Fallout's melee combat, and really dig the Ren fair, then play this".

Avoid getting Skate. 1 if you're trying to save a few bucks, after March 1st 3-4 of the achievements will become unobtainable.
