So I'm at the theater watching some movie (I forget what) and a trailer comes on for Season of the Witch. At first, I have no idea what it is, but I do notice that the trailer only takes up the center of the screen. Weird, but whatever.

I see Nicholas Cage (looking good as always with his long, luxurious, flowing hair) and wonder what could this trailer be for?



Some amazing and not generic at all music comes up and I just know, that whatever it is, this movie is confirmed to be awesome. It has action, the witch (I assume) asking if Nick is scared of her (stupid question I might add. His hair = Confidence) and then an amazing scene of Nick screaming passionately in the rain. Now I know, this movie has everything. Passion? Check. Rain? Check. Nicholas Cage? Double Check. The title eventually comes on as the music fades and I'm shown that this instant classic will be titled "The Season of The Witch".

My excitement was at an all time high and then I see "Coming Soon" as the trailer fades away. At this point fear entered my mind. Soon could mean anything from tomorrow to next year. After watching whatever movie I was at the time (I believe it was the one where John Travolta shaves his head to see how pale it is) finishes I rush home to check the internet (my current crush) when "The Season of The Witch" will finally be in theaters. She tells me that it will be coming to theaters March 19, 2010! I wiped the sweat from my brow, for I no longer needed to be worried about it coming out in the distant future.


So here's my question, anyone else incredibly excited to see this film? 21 days and counting until we can!
