A little advice. 360 died. :(

So last night my 360 died,(MW2 360 bought four days after MW2 release). No RROD, I install games and use an intercooler. Every time i turn it on the screen kind of goes all out of wack and freezes. I left it off overnight, but no such luck. Anyway, I'ts under warranty so I'm gonna call up MS tomorrow, but I was wondering is there anything I can do, without voiding warranty, to get it up and running for a few days, till I ship it off?

Also any advice on how to handle the MS customer service? Certain things I should/shouldn't say/do?

Thanks in advance.

Just call Microsoft, don't tell them you are using a Intercooler. And in addition don't use them any more. All your doing is blowing more dust into the system. As long as your 360 is not on the carpet and laying flat your fine. Intercoolers are just a waste of money and void your warranty.

Wasn't there that towel trick maybe I watched someone on youtube one time. I don't know if it would work in your situation but worth a try maybe?

You can attempt the towel trick, but only because it is inevitably going to Microsoft. The towel trick does a lot more damage than good, so that's why its not normally recommended.

If you dare to take the plunge, you can follow Cheapy's video
Intercoolers are horrible. They don't do shit. Sorry about your loss, but keep your next one away from it.

Um, the Intercooler TS, which I believe is the latest and greatest, sucks air OUT of the 360, not blow it in.
I heard somewhere a long time back that inter coolers void the warranty. Also welcome to the club.

Any third party accessory that is not officially licensed by Microsoft will void your warranty. Same goes for Nintendo and Sony.

another thing of note, make sure you let MS note that you want the MW2 360 back, or they will just send you a plain white refurb 360
Throw it in the garbage. That's where the 360 belongs. Buy a different console that is actually put together with QUALITY parts and not meant to screw over consumers time and again.
