How I got Pokerus (Pokemon Virus) and Lost it :(

Okay, so the other day I was playing Pokemon Soul Silver and to my surprise, the Pokemon Center let me know that one of my Pokemon (Infernape) had caught Pokerus...I thought it was bad at first, but then realized it actually doubles your EV's and can be spread to other Pokemon in your party and kept going indefinitely if done right. Apparently you have to put it in the PC in the Pokecenters before midnight to keep it going, but I didn't know this and therefore I lost it :( My Infernape still gets the EV bonus, but since it didn't spread to any of my other party members, I can't get it back.

Do any of you guys have a Pokemon infected with PKRS (Pokerus) that you could trade me? I don't care what kind of Pokemon it is Please let me know. I'd really like to get it back since I screwed up =P Thanks guys!

Off topic, but related story. About a week ago I accidently killed a shiny weevle in the bug catching competition. I was devistated and haven't played the game since :(

Oooh RchrdJ, I feel your pain then. I guess we are two Poke-screwups It could happen to anyone though. But yeah...killing a shiny or losing the Pokerus when you have it after years of trying. Yeah, we suck

Check out Serebii.net's chat for that kind of stuff. You'd have to trade something someone is looking for, but if they have it, they should be more than willing.

Thanks advanced...I'll go check out their forums later today and see if anyone there can trade with me Much appreciated. I go there all the time for Pokedex info but forgot about their forums ^_^ duh....thanks!

We trade a lot and im sure someone can help you.

You just have to remember to infect some pokemon and stick in yout PC for later infections and stuff.

I got some Pokemon infected with Pokerus in Diamond but I didn't care too much to train my Pokemon with it. I have 2 Manapy LVL 1 I was going to train but I get lazy... I am getting Gold and Silver next week and I think I am going to try and train some Pokemon.

last games I played were RS but not really much. GSC was where pokemon was at it's best imo. I never had a pokemon catch the pokerus in GSC despite restarting gold so many times (damn gameshark or whatever lol) and playing crystal for a while. I did catch a bunch of shineys in the wild though, including a pink butterfree in the bug contest that I won (without even attacking since my typhlosin was high leveled)! Unfortunately that was one of several gold playthroughs that got restarted -_-
