My First Entry

Well I figured my first blog should be about my lastest haul. I got home about an hour ago from gamestop's midnight opening and these were the games that came home with me.
Looking forward to playing all of these. The game I am looking forward to the most is actually Blur. If there are any other PS3 owners that have this game please let me know. You can add my PSN name: rjbooth. I will review all of these games in the upcoming weeks and write another blog entry telling all about myself. Look forward to playing some of you online. |

Why so many games at new price? (I hope you at least took advantage of 25Deal+Cag16+Edge a while back on preorders)

The bottom row I bought at full retail
 however I really wanted these games and I paid for them with giftcards that I earned through online shopping the past 3 years so it didn't hurt my wallet. |

Why would you buy Blur for the PS3? The Xbox 360 version was the lead console in its development and we all know Bizarre Creations are very knowledgeable with the 360 from their days of making exclusive Project Gotham Racing games.

I grappled with the choice between the xbox 360 and the ps3 version for a couple weeks. I loved the beta on 360 and was leary of getting the ps3 version because of no demo. In the end I decided I'd go with the ps3 version because that's pretty much the only system I play much of now-a-days. So far the PS3 version controls I think almost the same, however the graphics seems to be a lower resolution and then upscaled so its a little smoother. Mind you I am comparing the graphics to what I remember of the 360 beta as I hve not played the final 360 version.

Cool! Looks like it would have been a pretty awesome night! Nothing as nice as leaving a store with a big bag of games!
I'm excited to get ModNation Racers, the beta and demo were awesome. Have you ever played a Club Penguin game? I don't follow all the Club Penguin stuff, I know they have a website, some books, etc. but I don't know much about it. I've had the game in my cart several times to buy when Amazon had it cheap, but never bought it because I can't find much info on it... Looking forward to reading your review on the new game! |

Let me know your thoughts on ModNation PSP when you get to it. I really wanted to like the game on the PSP, but I thought the demo was pretty crappy.
