Hey guys; I went downtown today to check out the filming of the third Transformers movie and took some pictures. It was actually pretty cool to see how a big budget Hollywood movie is made up close. Anyways here's the pictures:
(The pictures aren't that great because I forgot to bring my camera and wasn't about to use crappy phone camera, so I used a disposable I bought at Walgreens.) This was layed out in an alleyway between two buildings. The rubble looked incredibly real except on the bottom of the debri you could see a chip where the styrofoam was exposed. I'm pretty sure the bus was real. Camera car Bumblebee's wheels (They actually had all the cars covered like that which I thought was sorta lame because there were so many fans just trying to get pictures) Chicago police protecting us We actually spent the majority of the day waiting for them to blow up that red sail boat and watching the guys dressed in SWAT suits run down stairs and climb up a ladder onto the bridge but it was still pretty cool. I'm by no means a huge fun of the new Transformers movies but it was deffinatley a cool experience to see it being filmed and I'll have to see it now. Bonus: Jesus Kitteh. |

sweet. Heard they were filming there and up here in Milwaukee as well. Your last sentence I can relate to. Years ago I did two days of 'extra' work and was an extra in the crowd of Juwaana Man when they filmed in Charlotte, NC. Had no desire to see the movie. Caught bits of it on tv and still have the vhs shrink wrapped for memories I guess.

Excited about yet another crappy Transformers movie? It's like getting cancer, beating it, then getting excited about recurrence.

Transformers has caused nothing but traffic backups in chicago...for another shitty movie. If it was a good movie I wouldn't mind, but these movies are just plain garbage.

Atleast this is the last one form Bay. Well that is what was posted on SciFiWire.com(now Blastr.com) and also they had on there that most were going to die. I got a feeling this is going to suck more than the last but I will still go to see it if AMC has a 5 buck showing. I miss karasotes theaters and their 5 bucks club.

This is an incredible post. sadly, it's more enjoyable than the first 2 movies combined and probably more enjoyable than the next movie.

I think Prime and Megatron are going to die together, and that Bay is going to copy some sort of ending similar to the beast machines ending. We need a damn teaser trailer ASAP! There is enough footage at the moment to make something so I would not be suprised to see one by atleast the fall. I did speculate that Prime would die in the second movie based on the heavy amount of damage shown in the trailers. Damn, I was really hoping the gang would head to cybertron aboard another seeker (a space shuttle)..but oh well.

That's really cool to hear. I'm known to forget my camera too, but normally resort to crappy phone pics.
I'll definitely have to watch Transformers 3 now (never saw the other two). |
