AMC's "The Walking Dead" trailer surfaces at Comic Con!

Earlier this week at the San Diego Comic Con, AMC dropped a very sweet trailer on those in attendance to showoff the upcoming zombie apocalypse television series, The Walking Dead, which is based on the critically acclaimed comic series of the same name. Not the best picture as the clip was shot with a camera from the audience, but you can see that AMC should have a really good product on their hands come October...

That looks really cool. So it's a TV series then? Looks (and sounds) not broadcast friendly. Is it going to be on HBO or something?

I never heard of it. Assuming it's something that's come out in the last 5 years, or is it not a US station?

dv8mad, AMC has been around for awhile but really only got noticed in the last few years because of two of their other shows, Mad Men and Breaking Bad, both which are loved by the vast majority of critics and viewers alike. Other than those, though, they were mostly known for Sopranos reruns and various classic movies, so chanes are that's why they never came up on your radar. That or your cable provider just didn't carry them, which happens...
