As for my MoBo I went with GIGABYTE's UD7 MoBo.

At first I originally wanted the ASUS P6X58D-Premium MoBo, but then I discovered GIGABYTE's UD9 MoBo, and of course, after finding out about the UD9, I absolutely wanted it as my MoBo. There is one problem with the UD9 though...it is a XL ATX MoBo, yes, not extended but extra large! With the measurements laid out on the internet, it supposedly will not fit inside of the Level-10, so I went with the next best thing, UD7.

Everything about the UD7 and UD9 is the exact same except for the size and the number of PCIe slots.

With the space I see inside of the Level-10, I feel like I could fit the UD9 MoBo but I am not going to risk trying...just going to go with the "facts" laid out.

Some things I would like to point out about this MoBo that I enjoy knowing are its;
- Maximum support for R.A.M. is 24GB
- Support for triple channel
- Number of PCI slots
- SATA 6GB/s (I guess 3GB/s as well, ha ha ha)
- USB 3.0 ports

- Double BIOS (If one fails, the other one will boot, as well a power/reset button on the MoBo)

and the one thing that makes me the most happy about the MoBo is...the colour BLUE!, if you have not noticed, the two MoBos I picked before the UD7 is also coloured blue! I believe blue is the colour of the future for MoBos of all kind! I pick MoBos by colours! ha ha ha, it just so happen that my favourite colour is blue .

Anyhow, on to the pictures!

Front of the box, is that a double-rainbow I see?!

Inside of the front flap, I really like the rainbow shiny-ness GIGABYTE does with their boxes o.O

Hidden accessories!

I/O plate, wires, connectors, SLI connector

Manuals, CD and stickers. I swear that manual is HOLY, it is like the dummy guide to building a computer, so very easy to understand, I love GIGABYTE's manuals.

MoBo with heatsink on top, I like the fact it came with a heat sink.

MoBo without the heatsink!

I like how you post so many unnessisary pictures, what is usb 3.0?
kilm's Avatar
Although you may think it's "unnessisary,"

one: blogs are inherently "unnessisary,"

two: It's usually a smart idea to take pictures of new computer products and especially the unopened boxes in case of unforeseen warranty issues

@phantasyx Basically a improved version of USB compared to 2.0 providing faster speed across devices/storage medias. Its still under development but motherboard manufactures like Gigabyte and Asus are already making motherboards equipped with USB 3.0.
Wow, that has to be the coolest motherboard I have ever seen. Very nice!

It better be the coolest motherboard ever when it cost $700. How much will this build end up costing? How much as it cost so far?

Edit: Notice it's the Canadian site, so it's not $700 USD, probably around $500 or so, but still.
