Here is what i saw during my second trip to PAX :


Playstation 3

RE 5 with Move

I originally played this game with a controller when it first came out and did not like the mechanic of stop and shoot. Playing this game with Move controller is not different, you have to point the dildo at the screen and control your character with other controller. The aiming was not very accurate and camera was all over the place when moving the character.

Little Big Planet 2

I love LBP and is one of the main reasons i bought my PS3. LBP 2 looks very similar to first game in graphics and controls. I only played Zero Gravity level where you have guide sack boy through different obstacles in zero gravity. The jump mechanic has improved a lot and everything else is still awesome. The rep said that you can transfer levels and dlc from first lbp.

GT5

I'm not a big fan of driving games and the only reason i tried this game because there was a hot women promoting the game. The demo was on a 3D TV and i had to where dirty glasses that other 1000 geeks wore before me. The game play with 3D glasses did not change very much or i just did not notice because the game was fun. Graphics are really good and controlling the car is easy, just push gas and follow green line and when its red slow down, go around in a circle and repeat.

Pixel Junk Shooter 2

My favorite game on PSN. The first game was a lot easier compared to other pixel junk games. This game takes place right after the first one with different enemies and environments. I played the level where you have to collect survivors in the dark and if you stay in one spot for too long glowing orbs that are around the level will destroy your ship. The controls are the same , graphics are awesome.


Tales from Space: About a Blob

In this game you have to control a blob to solve puzzles in order to move to the next level. When your blog eats an object it grows bigger that means you can eat bigger objests. Each level has a set point how big you blog has to be for you to move to the next level.




Killzone 3

I did not play this game because i did not want to wait in a huge line.


Mortal Kombat

I'm not a big fan of fighting game but i love MK due to its awesome fatalities and wide range of characters. I played as Sub-Zero while trying to mash bunch of button. There is a new x-ray mode when your power bar is full you can do special move which deals a lot of damage. Fatalities are easy, just press down on dpad and Y button. The graphics look amazing and controls feel great.




Nintendo Wii

NBA Jam

This game brings back a lot of memories when i played it in the arcades and on snes in the early 90's. In the wii version you can use classic controller or motion controls. I was using motion controls which i enjoyed for one minute. I played as Chicago Bulls vs Boston Celtics. I picked Dennis Rodman as my player and some other unknown. I was disappointed that i could not pick MJ or Scottie Pippen but according to the rep you can unlock more characters. The graphics look good and all things from original NBA Jam are included. The final score was 35 - 15 because the other player sucked.





On my way back from Bumbershoot , i met Doug Benson on the street. He is famous comedian and he mad an awesome movie "Super High Me."
