The new xbox 360 controller anybody tried it?

 The new Xbox 360 silver controller with an adjustable dpad and new shoulder buttons. If you own it, how is it? I am looking to get a new controller to replace my old one. Also, how does the chatpad look slapped onto this new controller? My old controller's buttons and analog sticks are starting to wear out. Worth $58.55 on Amazon? |

I like mine the adjustable dpad is a huge improvement and the bumpers feel much more responsive not like my old controllers which just feel like they mush down when you press them. Im not sure but the rechargeable battery seems to last longer then previous rechargeable batteries. Im not sure about the price the reason I jumped on mine was cause it was only like 45 on buy.com a couple weeks ago.

I'd like one of these if it didn't come with the battery pack and cable. I use Eneloops and really don't want to have to keep the thing connected to my Xbox in order to charge it. Much more convenient to just swap out the batteries as needed, and the Eneloops don't lose charge, or at least not much, when just sitting there.

6 months later this controller is still $50 on amazon. What gives? I'm not really surprised since the original controllers haven't gone down in price though. I guess I can't wait for my white controller to break down so I can get a shiny silver one!
