Last gaming week of the year. First things first for the new year, I have a thread going to try and help rearrange my backlog into a more fun order, if you'd like to help please check it out: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...d.php?t=283209. Also I'm going to throw in my xmas pick ups since my last post only went through the 24th. I actually got a lot more then expected, my parents spent around $1k between me and my sister and i felt bad since didn't have that much money for them....

Xmas pickups:
The biggest thing of all.... they bought me a Kinect. I actually wanted one but now that I have it I have the dilemma of actually buying a game for it. I don't want to add to my backlog till I beat games, but I also don't want it to just sit there. My girlfriend is going to buy Dance Central I think, but otherwise.... yeah.
They also grabbed me Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition and Super Street Fighter IV which I just wanted to replace my regular editions. My friend got me Batman: Arkham Aslyum and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune because he was upset that I didn't buy any games last year. My girlfriend also got me the 360 controller with the new d-pad which is pretty sweet.


Last week I mainly played: Final Fantasy XII. I also played: Kinect Adventures, Wolfenstein 3D, and Resident Evil 5.

I am at a point in FF12 where I can only make small gains without level grinding. I've gotten stuck 2 times recently and had to level grind to pass them so I guess for the time being I'm not going to be moving through the game very far. Me and my girlfriend played the Kinect on the 25th just to try it out, I don't know if it;s just Kinect Adventures or if it's just a hokey device. I had fun but what I have played of the PS Move I think I would like that better. Played some Wolfenstein just because, and me and my friend actually completed 2 chapters in RE5 because I think he's tired of it and just wants to finish it off. It sucks though the game disconnects randomly all the time so there are a few chapters he doesn't have the trophies for completing. Not really any backlog progress either. 43 games aren't making the cut as of now, but I'll worry about that when I rearrange my backlog in a few weeks.
