Ahhh, A game that I have owned for quite some time I finally get to cross off of my List as beaten - though I am far from done playing it.

I don't know why, but I just never really decided to sit down and beat NSMB even though I owned it shortly after it came out.

First time I owned it, I played a decent amount, but I mainly focused on the mini games and VS with some friends - then one day I traded in my DS and NSMB for the Mario Red (with the big M logo) DS that came with a new copy of NSMB.

At that point the game became dormant mainly because it never left the box it came in (and by that I mean the DS box - not just the game box).

So, recently while going through my closet I saw the Red DS box sitting there and I noticed that it still had NSMB in it, unopened and that is when I decided this was going to be the next game I beat.

Being that I want to play my portables more, and that I have some free time during my lunch breaks - I gave it a go. A week later I knocked it out as "beaten" and can cross another game off my backlog list (even though I have procrastinated and not made my DS backlog list yet).
