I got my copy today from Amazon when I got home from class, unfortunately I have class at 2:30 and UPS delivered around 2:00 so I had to wait til I got home

Starting up the game was quick and easy, and I set it to normal as I always do the first time I play a game.

After playing through the first two missions I'm very impressed. The movement is very fluid but still has enough weight to not feel completely like COD/Halo (I personally liked the controls of KZ2 but they are improved for 3). I was also pleasantly surprised to find the motion blur has been toned down as in KZ2 it would give me a headache after a few hours.

The AI seems just as good as it was in KZ2. Enemies still take cover and flank every once and awhile. I had a few guys take pot shots then move and wait for me to come to them. The language has been toned down and I like the decision. Like the developers said themselves it makes swearing have more meaning when its not over-used. The only time I heard anything was a vehicle gunner yelled "stay down bitch".

The brutal melee kills are another small thing that is nice. I've seen 3 of them so far (not sure how many there are). The best by far is the eye gouge (its just so damn satisfying lol). Though it is nice to have the standard rifle butt melee at your disposal. The weapons have good recoil and the Shotgun pistol is quite awesome. The helghast weapons sans SMG now have a smaller Holo sight which gives you good sight picture and quick acquisition. The silenced pistol that was showcased in jungle gameplay videos is by far my favorite so far. Semi auto when in ADS and full auto out of. One kill headshots, and the ever satisfying blown up Hig head

The variety of locations is a nice touch too. KZ2 was just the same thing over and over for the most part and KZ3 has more variety. The jungle was just fantastic.

There's also small things that greatly improve the experience for me. The part where [MINOR SPOILER]

You move forward six months time. Almost everybody has facial hair now and the people who did before has gotten thicker and less neat. Sev and Rico's hair has gotten longer (nice fro Rico lol)
Also within the first two missions you get to use the Mech and be the gunner on a vehicle which helps to break up the pace

Overall the game is great so far. It looks stunning and truly is the best looking game out there on the ps3 today. As said before the movement is more fluid and accessible to people used to COD/Halo style movement.
As I do not own a Move I haven't been able to play with motion controls, and I haven't yet gotten into Multiplayer though based on the MP demo its quite amazing

Overall it was $41 very well spent. As of late its hard for me to say i get my money out of any game, I'm not sure if its because I'm getting older and have more priorities or if I'm one of those people who enjoy the hype of a game more then the actual game, but KZ3 is deff worth even the full price.

If you own a PS3 and haven't gotten Killzone 3 yet I highly suggest it especially with Amazon's $20 credit deal
