I guess every month if I finish a game I'll write about it. As of the end of February I have only finished 3 games this year. Thats mainly due to World of Warcraft dominating my time, but that addiction has since passed.
February Dead Space 2. This game was a lot more action packed than the first one, and I know some people loved it for that, but I enjoyed the creepy atmosphere of the first one, this one didn't spook me in the slightest, even with the Turtle Beaches cranked up. Its not a bad game, but I was disappointed. Enslaved: If there is one thing I hated about Enslaved besides the mediocre gameplay, it was the setting. I hated it, couldn't stand the art style, just not my cup of tea. But the characters in the game were amazing. The realtionship between Monkey and Trip made the ho hum gameplay worth trudging through. I was half tempted to pick up the Pigsy based DLC but I'll wait for a Deal of the Week. Dragon Age Origins + Awakening + DLC: This was technically my 2nd playthrough of this game, I enjoy this game for its throwback to the older Infinity Engine style of rpgs. While I am sad that Dragon Age 2 seems to shy away from the system in Origins, I am still looking forward to getting more time into the Universe Bioware has created. Currently Playing: Assassins Creed Brotherhood |

Yeah, i'm not sure what to think about the game play changing in 2 from what it was in Origins.
I liked Origins a lot because of it's game play. I have never been into nor played a lot of RPG's that are like 2 is going to be.... But the Universe is awesome and I can't wait to sink my teeth into more DA lore. |

Also. What Turtle Beaches do you have?
I just bought my girl the X31's from GameStop and she is loving them so far. I put the on for a minute and the sound was fantastic. I want to pick up a pair for myself now, mainly because it's a hassle to switch everything depending on who is playing (we have separate systems hooked up to separate TV's) |

I have the X41s, with my son they are the best thing I could have ever bought myself for those late night game sessions. The way it blends your voice and your friends voices and still lets you hear the sound of the games is awesome. Now I don't even bother using the sound on my TV even if my son isn't home.

I actually thought part of Enslaved's "charm" was the setting. I liked the colorful post-apocalyptia (?) versus the same old dreary mechanical and gray future.
