I'm back once again with a new review for the latest game out of Q-Games' PixelJunk series, which is a full-blown sequel to PixelJunk Shooter. They've added two new fluids, light/dark mechanics, and even an online multiplayer mode for one-on-one battles.
PixelJunk Shooter 2 "PixelJunk Shooter 2 is a blast to play and is an overall improvement over its predecessor in every aspect. The controls have been improved by quite a bit in a way that may not be noticeable unless you go back to the original game and see how sluggish some moves can get. The campaign is similarly split up into three episodes with five levels each, which definitely provides much more of a challenge than the first game offered. Despite the fact that PixelJunk Shooter 2 was originally just an add-on for the original at first, Q-Games has done a great job of expanding some extra levels into a full-blown game that improves on every aspect of its predecessor that makes it well worth the $10 that it will cost." PixelJunk Shooter 2 for the PS3 received a Buy It recommendation. You can read the full review over at SmashPad. |

If it doesn't cost more than $10 and doesn't carry DRM like BC:A2 then I'll be getting it tonight. The first was a great game. Glad to support fresher ideas like this.

It's $9.99, as I said in the last sentence of the quote.

If, since, same thing. The game is in my price range. DRM is the only thing that would make me say no.
