Hello all,
So I recently came to a glorious conclusion there are many dads who game. And gaming dads often give up sleep to play games. I prefer gaming in the morning, its a nice way to start the day. Usually around 600am to 700am sometimes longer depending on when everyone starts waking up on the weekends. During the week it varies.

So, how bout we dads stick together?
Is anyone else up that early and want to play online?

What do we think of this plan?

I've tried that method of playing early before. All it results in is being late for work, lol. I stay up late instead.

I am with Hell Monkey. I game at night. Normally jump on around 11 then on until 1. Then attempt to catch up on sleep during my days off with power naps with the kids.

I'm a gaming dad, and during the week, mornings are the only time when I play. I work an overnight shift, and I get home around 6:00 a.m. I'll often play until 6:45-7:00 when I go wake up my kids. If I don't have too much to get done around the house, I'll play again after I get home from driving them to school, around 9:00. Weekends, it's either early morning or late at night, when everyone else is in bed.
I get into games too much to do the early routine - so I game at night instead.

I hate being in the middle of a chapter or a cliffhanger and wanting to know what happens next but realizing that I have to be to work shortly.

Or worse, no where near a save point!!!!

No way am I getting up that early unless I'm forced to. I usually go to bed during the week at 2am and get up at 6:30am. On the weekend it varies usually in bed at 4am and up between 9 - 11ish.

worth a shot.
Nights I like to spend with the wife, but when she is busy with other stuff gaming is always in.

I have to get up at 5 every morning just get in some exercise and go to work on time. It's a great idea though.

Hell no. Even getting up at 7 to put one of the kids on the bus is difficult enough. I'm usually only weeknights from midnight-0030 or 0100. Weekends I'll start about 10 for an extra hour or so.

not a dad, but I love morning gaming. Unfortunately, like others have said though, I tend to save my gaming for the night. If I game in the morning, the rest of my day tends to get put behind by at least 3 hours.
