With his merry band of adventurers waiting below in the small town of Dallas, Texas, Chac alone ascended the gargantuan volcano that served as a centerpiece to the village. He had to be alone; there was no way TMK could make this journey without wetting his eyes or his pants, and babysitting him would be a multi-person job.

So on his own Chac made this journey, fighting off wild beasts with only his knowledge of property law and old episodes of Divorce Court. After three months he reached the top of the mountain, and with an elven rope he began to descend into the mouth of the volcano.

There in the center of the earth he found the one they call dallow, doing dallow things in the dallow dark.

"I knew you would come for me one day," said the dallow, "and I am prepared."

And up from the lava surrounding their tiny platform came a colossal beast made of molten rock and also other rocks. It roared like a startled James Van Der Beek, and spat a breath of fire III that would have scorched Chac to the bone had he not been white.



"Foul beast!" Chac cried. "dallow! You could not kill me that day in '89, and you shall not do it today!"
