Bought Legend of Mana on PSN. Best game ever! |

There are some of us who like JRPG's a lot and I am one of them. Somehow I missed Legend of Mana going up on PSN, but tonight I noticed it on PSN and I just had to buy it!
So I download it, all 300+ megabytes of it and eagerly anticipate it finishing installing and then I start it up. I gotta say everything about it blew me away from the beginning, from the Playstation logo that shows when you first start it up (how nostalgic. I'm glad they included that in the game!) to the amazing title screen. Now there isn't anything moving on the title screen, but it just looks so pretty. I stared at it and took a picture to use as my wallpaper background (I really did) and then finally start the game. It gives me the option of picking not only if I want to play as a boy or girl (picked the girl obviously, she's pretty hot) but also the task of picking my name so that I can get started with the game. And as the game starts I'm given the pretty hard task of picking where I want to be in the world and even where I want to put my mailbox. It was a hard choice, because mailbox placement is very important in life. You don't ever want to half to walk too far to get the mail, but you don't want your mailbox placement to be an inconvenience to the mail man, because that's just not cool. I place it on the map in the place I feel would be convenient for both the mailman and I, and then the game finally starts! The story it tells at the beginning is amazing and heartfelt. Apparently there was this tree named Mana, who went crazy and decided to look ominous. It was up to a robot to come from space and kill the tree, but the robot didn't have it in him and gave a heartfelt speech to the tree, and the tree became good again! Awesome! Except the tree actually did not become good again and killed the robot when the robot turned it's back. Sadness. Then it goes to your character in your room. I talked to a green thing in the room and walked around for about 2 hours, but can't figure out what to do now. The game so far is so amazing that even walking around the room is fun! I highly recommend this game. I give it 10 awesomes. Buy it and support the developers so we can get a sequel to this amazing game someday! I know it's a little soon to be talking about a sequel, but I'm really hoping for one! |

C'mon. Don't be a jerk with these kinds of blogs.
The least you could do is put a spoiler on the mailbox thing. Now I won't even bother playing. |

I kind of wish I could just link this to Sony and they'd send assassins to kill you.

In seriousness, this was a great game. Unfortunately the game does a very bad job on explaining the mechanics of the game. After reading an FAQ, I realized that the game is really, really deep compared to how the game presented itself.

Yeah, I'm not too sure what I'm doing in it right now. Maybe I should look up an FAQ.
