A Short & Sweet Break-Up Letter To Club Nintendo |

Dear, Club Nintendo, We need to talk. If you're serious about changing, it's over. I know you love me and I love you, too. But, this change in your terms of service is a bigger commitment than I'm ready for. With everything that's been going on with the PlayStation Network, I just don't feel that this is the right time to give you more. What? You don't know what I'm talking about!? Well, you were drunk when you first brought it up. You said...
I'm not sure if it was just bad timing on your part, but after the PSN attack, there's no way I can comfortably agree to that. If you insist, then you will push me away. I know you've been very generous. Don't get me wrong. But, I just can't agree to that. If you change your mind about your new TOS, I'll stay with you. It's as simple as that. The ball's in your court. I love you... |

Maybe it's my lack of sleep, but what exactly is the problem?
Worst case scenario, someone finds out what Nintendo games you play? |

Yea, it sounds like they're just saying they'll keep track of what games you're playing on the Wii/DS and what games you're looking at on their site. I'm actually surprised they don't already do that and are actually asking your permission.

I'm surprised, too. I'm wondering if this might have something to do with the E-Shop and browser 3DS firmware update at the end of the month.

@ Blue Swim
It does. It's in the agreements section. Kotaku and other sites are just trying to be sensationalist about this. |
