That should be a serious suspension for that, possibly being thrown out of the league. It is far too dangerous to allow something like that to happen, and any player who would consider doing that has no place in the NBA.

Ive been a laker fan since I was born, that was an asshole move. I expect and hope they clean house after this season, those guys are a bunch of head cases in my opinion.

I agree with paz9x. I was born a fan and and also hope the house gets cleaned. Not surprisingly, he was suspended a few weeks ago for doing something similar. Time to look for a different future franchise player.

don't forget literally 5 minutes real time before that when Lamar flattened Dirk and got tossed out of the game...and Artest in game 2 face palming Barea. Stay classy Lakers.

I remember when the NBA was still a respectable sport and hard fouls like that happened EVERY GAME. Now its a bunch of one on one pansies crying b/c he took a hard foul

@smiggity - maybe everyone forgot about the knicks/heat back in the 90's, how about the pistons, celtics, in the 80's???
this is childs play, as a laker fan i dont support these hard fouls but OMG ITS THE LAKERS....so lets bag on them even harder just cuz its the lakers relax they lost a playoff series....how many teams can say that they went to the finals 3 straight years in a row and won 2 straight finals???? 4 finals appearances is almost impossible.....i didnt expect them to win another championship.....then again i didnt expect them to get swept by the mavs lakers lost and everyone wants to bag on them.....get over it |

Dude, before artest was a laker, do we all remember the detroit incident? He is still in the league. Although, I was hoping for them to win (do not live in la), they are whinny little babies about losing. edit: and to the person above me, as long as lebron doesn't win, go mavs! |
