That's one reason I like psn better. I got like 2 messages ever and live. Its always some dumbass, but the whole glitching thing is new. Even as much as I use to play Gears 2. I never got accused of cheating or glitching.

that is a major difference between xbl and psn....shake it off and dont let some idiot ruin your games

Yeah I just got on the Beta yesterday and someone sent me a message "What the ?! Bitch ass chain saw?! Bitch ass!" after I killed him. It wasn't even like it was a chain saw duel he lost, I guess he just found it unbelievable.

Well at least it wasn't the N-word. Or other racial slurs, even when you're white. Didn't you know whenever you lose a game online it's only because the other person was cheating?

Dont ask me how or why I know this. But as a "Griefer" is someone who deliberately annoys folk, a "Glitcher" is someone that finds and exploits glitches in a game.
Honestly its ridiculous. My advice: Make the conscious decision in your life that you're a gamer who games for fun. Then all the bs will roll right off your shoulder

I had someone accuse a group of 6 players of cheating in Black Ops. He claimed to be a 6'5", 245 lb Ex-Marine and an amateur MMA fighter. He then told all of us that because we made fun of how bad he was (he went 3-22) that him and his ex-marine buddies would "come to the hood and take us all out" (like ex-marines have nothing better to do). He also said he could make 1 phone call and all information about us would disappear along with us, I just shrugged it off and laughed at him.

@slimjim - the fact that you made fun of the guy for going 3-22 puts you at fault on that one. Granted his response was a quite over the top and at least partially lies but you evoked it.

The most awkward thing that I had over Xboxlive was after I had purchased the kinect. I got on to play some Halo Reach. I normally had voices muted but for some reason voices were coming through my Tv and my Kinect microphone was on.

A guy(with his buddies) started trying to talk to me and say they liked my gamertag. I ended up on their team, and not really wanting to talk to the LOUD talking teammates. I went into kinect setting turned off the Mic. Through out the whole game the main guy in the group is running around serenading my gamertag and me. I ended up getting the most kills that game and he continued to talk about it and sent me a friend request after the game.

Now I know what most people think and yes there are alot of little kids running their mouth on Xbox Live but, in this case, this guy had one of the deepest baritone voice.

so your saying this is the first game you have ever played online?
I always get glitcher messages even on PS3. Admittedly I have glitched like 1-2 times (either trying it out or in response to others who were in U2 glitch).

I've played Gears 2 since release online and never got any weird messages. Not sure why I did in the beta.
