Stopped watching this after the season finale of season 3. The series lost its way for me after that point. Glad to see that the series did get completed though for those that really enjoyed it.

The wedding stuff took to much time and the battles were weak. But at least it was a planed finale and Micheal Rosenbaum came back as Lex for a few scenes. 8/10

There was a lot of fluff in the episode and I wanted more screen time with Tom Welling rocking the Superman suit. But the last 20 minutes were brilliant and just made me wish they'd let him fly sooner.
Smallville is a show that when it gets it right, it's fantastic, but there's so much bullshit in between those episodes and those moments. They did a good job bringing Lex back and finding a way to have him forget about Clark's secret. Seeing the glimpse into the future with the Daily Planet, though, just makes me wish they'd have a real Superman show out of Smallville. Such a tease! |

I kind of wish they had a full still shot of him as Superman when he was in space instead of going to the comic book shot. The suit must not have fit Welling well since it was the recent movie suit and that is probably why they never give any nice shots of him in the full suit.

I'm guessing that's it too, he simply didn't look good in the suit so they decided not to show him in the full thing.

How can Welling not look good in the suit -- he's a pretty big guy and in good shape.
For whatever reason, (trademark issues, or he didn't want to wear it, or writers sticking to the "no capes" pledge) they didn't show him in the suit -- big letdown. Frankly, the entire episode was just so-so -- too much was squeezed into the last 20 minutes. |

I thought it was a solid ending and I enjoyed seeing him finally, after 10 years, fly around in the suit.

I couldn't watch the show after like season 6 or 7. I barely made it that far. Wanted to get to the end, but it just kept getting renewed...
I might just watch the last one. |

The last couple seasons were definitely a lot stronger then 5, 6 and 7, but yeah you should watch the finale.
