Stay Safe East Coast CAGSs

Just a general message to the CAGs along the east coast of the US in the path of Irene. Be safe, stock up on what you need if you are going to ride it out,and if you are told to evacuate please do so. We all want to stay home with our games and stuff, but do what you need is necessary to protect your life and family. A PS3 can be replaced, you can't.

i live in south florida huge storms covering the entire state is pretty normal :L mostly power outages and some water damage.

 @Holesale Just like the tiny Earth quake we freaked out about, this storm isn't the norm so people are spooked. I visited my family in Florida yearly as a kid so I know what you mean about Florida and storms. It once rained on half the car (front or back, I forget) as we were driving.... O_o |

I thought it was going to be terrible where I live so I watched the news and they said winds around 30mph here and I thought meh its worse in the winter if that's true.

Its going to be an interesting couple of days.
Wind has died downa ig since it touched down on land. Lets hoipe it keeps dying down. MY biggest concern now is the river rising. we never have gotten water but it doesnt make me feel any better when i see that river creep up the street. |

My property has trees lining two of the four sides. The trees that run along the side next to my garage are literally 10 feet from the house and garage, with branches that overhang my roof. That's the main thing I worry about when we get storms with high winds. I know we'll have some branches down, I just hope we don't have any big ones hit the house.
