Do it when you get bored.

That's what I was thinking. I love the Commando, but to only use it for such a short time (levels 44-50) is disappointing. A couple of times I've gone for Ghost Pro, and it can take a long time if you never find a Sentry Gun to knock out.

I also notice that quite a few of the players who mad presitged out are using grenade launchers (noob tubes). What's up with that?

I like to prestige the instant I get to 50. I think it's fun to work on unlocking things. I wish that it was different though. I hate the idea of unlocking guns at high levels and not getting to use them, BUT, I feel like it's a waste to not get the XP and have it go to something. I enjoy leveling up. I notice a lot of people who have just been playing as a lvl 50 and never prestiging. That sounds boring to me.

I don't know what everyone's issue with grenade launchers are though. Especially in hardcore, with no crosshair, it's not easy to get the grenade exactly where you want it and it's especially tough these days with everyone and their mother using flak jacket. I think it's more annoying to get taken out by some of the typically overpowered SMGs that can pick you off across the board with sniper precision.

What's the point of prestiging? You lose everything you've worked for, and for what? Just so that you can unlock the same things again. But, oh, now they give you a new skin for your gun or w/e. It's just artificial extension of the game.

Here's an idea, and don't take this the wrong way (I'm trying not to come across as a douche, lol) play a game besides Black Ops. there are so many better MP games.

From afar, I dont mind getting hit by a grenade launcher. It's when I'm relatively close and instead of trying to aim and fire they just fire a grenade in my general direction for the kill.

I did enjoy the challenge of starting over (and I play plenty of FPS and multiplayer games, I love Brotherhood, but think the poison skill is unbalanced), with what I've learned, but don't really want to go through it 15 times. 10 seems plenty. I also hate to waste the exp. points, especially at the beginning of a presgtige, as things progress rather quickly. This is the first time I've tried Ghost as a perk, though.

Plus, many of the players I've come across that have prestiged out are kind of jerks. If I do max out, I am definitely not getting that gold paint for weapons!
