Gaming 9/10-9/16
5 Hours:  Uncharted: Drake's Fortune: Another game in the books for this year. I really enjoyed this game except for a few parts towards the end (making my way through the cemetery and then the weird alien looking things, although they made sense in the end and then I was ok with them). I don't really know what to else to say about it.3 Hours: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga: My girlfriend wanted another Lego game but I had already beaten Lego Star Wars II so she bought the complete Saga. More Lego fun (except the pod race) and we have done the first 2 movies already. Pickups for the week: Bionic Commando Rearmed 2I need a break from my backlog so I bought Bionic Commando to do just that. I don't know if it's going to count as a break because of how frustrating the first Rearmed was, so we will see. I started my internship which I thought would make gaming hours non-existent but since it's like school with no homework that's probably why I still have time. I think I might be able to beat as many games as I did last year (18) but since I have been doing all these co-op games with my girlfriend, it's not really helping my backlog though. Right now it's limited to 99 games and I think it's going to be around a 50 game limit next year. I'm already prepared to ride the rest of the year out without buying anything (besides Halo) so it shouldn't be a big deal. I really enjoyed Uncharted - and 2 is a blast as well.
I just felt it was strange how it went from action/adventure to survival/horror right at the end. Still, loved it. |

Congratulations on finishing another game!
It is great that the internship hasn't taken away all your game time, so that works out really well! My backlog is still on hold for right now. Between working more hours, starting a bunch of new things at work and just having a crazy schedule lately, gaming hasn't really been possible. I am ready to get some more game time, but I have just been too tired to play anything lately. Will probably have to start up another DS game soon or I'm never going to make it through the backlog! Keep up the great work! |
