PS3 Gamesharing

Ok - So I know this makes me way behind on the times and all but I wanted to just give my opinion on something I have started doing just recently - PS3 Game Sharing.

Now, from the info that i have gathered the PS3 is set up so that you can have up to 16 total accounts active on your PS3 at any one time.
And any one account can only be activated on up to 5 total systems.

So, someone creates an account and downloads a game or two and some DLC that he is sharing with 4 other people and they all share in the costs.

All fine and dandy really - you can get yourself some good games at a fraction of the price, much like I see people doing with the new FIFA currently.

However, if you are an active game sharing kinda guy (or chick) then I could see how you would easily rack up your 16 profiles on your system and be maxed out.
It also appears that most of the "groups" aren't in it for a long haul and multiple games over the course of time - it's more of a Lets share this one game now and that's it.

So, do a lot of you just use game sharing as kind of a rental where you can get a game for cheap and play it until you are done with it and then see if anyone else is willing to buy your share out (so then you delete it from your system and give someone else the login and password so that they can enjoy the game instead)?
Or are there a lot of you out there with a file of all the profiles you have access to for games and you just delete the ones off your system that you are not currently using - however you could reactivate them later and re-download the games if you wanted to?

I think the 2nd option seems less likely (at least on a regular basis), however I could see that being done for a game or two that you just really really love and don't want to part with.

I see the first option as being the most likely - essentially the same use I get out of Playstation+
Play the free games they give me then delete and forget about them.

For instance - Tonight I grabbed an account that had GOW 1, 2 and Origins on it for $14.
Now, I already have GOW 1 and 2 on disc - but I have been wanting to play Origins but not willing to spend the $39.99 to buy it - so $14 seemed reasonable. I do plan on getting the discs at some point, in which case my best bet would be to run through both games and beat them - then see if I can sell the account to someone else who would enjoy the game.

I know that was a lot of rambling for something that could have been summed up in just a few sentences, but whatever.

So, to you out there who game share, how to do you do it? do you just beat the games and then try to sell that particular account or do you keep the accounts in case you want to play the games later?

If I have a PSN card laying around I'll spring for whatever sounds really good. When I'm done with an account's games, I'll trade it to someone else for an account of equal or lesser value; as long as I'm interested in whatever games are on it.
(I'm picky about what I play.)

Haven't been doing any gamesharing at all for the past 3 months or so since I got a little too desperate to find someone to fill in a slot for a gameshare that went haywire and was branded a scammer for it.
Lesson learned: Never make a deal TOO good.

I buy accounts for games I am interested in. If I finish all games on it or just never think I'll bother playing them again I'll try to sell it.

I recently joined a longer term group so I think I'm done buying accounts for just 1-2 games though.

I usually use it as a rental service unless I really enjoy the game and want to keep it on my hard drive.

The 16 account limit is actually nice for me because it keeps me in check so don't continue to buy games and not finish them. I am forced to either finish what is on my hard drive or sell the share.
I feel like an idiot for not looking into this sooner haha,

I ventured into the realm of gamesharing by pulling together a group of like minded individuals who seemed serious and mature about getting a great deal on a variety of games, I also was clear on how the group would function (big factor no music files)
now on our 2nd year for both and still working
That's awesome Romis.
Pretty much the same thing I'd like to do ideally - going to get ahold of a few friends and see if they have some interest in it or not.

a few of us share a group account but beyond that I've never really looked into buying and selling accounts

gsharing is great. the longterm shares, not so much. you can't really get much for longterm shares because most either will have played those games already or aren't interested.
so basically, if you behave and respect the community, you could basically game for free...

i remember in days of old when i would purchase games for $10.00 + tax on my main account never to play them for more than a week pff HAHAHA what a laugh..
