Halloween is here and I finished my pumpkins last night (shown above). I love pumpkin EVERYTHING, and especially love to go out pumpkin picking and coming up with great things to mold out of their exteriors. This year I waited until the last minute and still wasn't sure what I wanted to do even as of yesterday afternoon. I was just going to say "screw it" and not carve anything at all, but then I decided that I can just do something a little bit simple and still show some gaming love with this year's bounty.

Every year I get at least one medium sized orange pumpkin, and a smaller white one. I decided to use the white one for an Assassin's Creed pumpkin. I've been playing quite a bit of Brotherhood lately, which has sat in my backlog for the last year and I have recently preordered Revelations so I figured showing some love to one of my favorite franchises was definitely something to do.



The second pumpkin was originally going to be many other things, but I finally settled on just doing the Forza Motorsport logo. I love the Forza series, and to celebrate the new release of Forza 4 this month, I figured this was another perfect way to show some love for another favorite series of mine. Unfortunately there are a few imperfections with my design as I did slip a few times while working on some edges.



Overall I think things turned out ok, definitely not the greatest gamer related pumpkins out there, but I would like to think they aren't the worst either. I wish I would have given myself a little more time to work on them, so hopefully next year I will have the time to start on them a little bit earlier and do some more advanced designs.
