And we're off to take the little ones out for Halloween. We'll see how this goes. We've improved our attention span nad listening skills from previous years where we would just enter the persons home and then not leave.

Thankfully one kid isnt interested in chocolate, so more candy for me.

Darksiders - Still playing it. Even with a less than adequate map and a horrible camera. (It focuses the camera on the enemy, but doesn't "lock-on") . Just finished off the Stygian giant worm boss in the ash sands. And thanks to the horrible camera I never even really saw him until he was defeated.

Split/Second - Finished off the first episode and it was okay. don't know if I'll stick with the game to the end. It's a decent looking arcade racer but it seems like if you hold the brakes a split-second (HA!) too long for a drift you end up spinning out, facing backwards and losing the race.

Costume Quest - It's charming but really needs more variety and difficulties in the battles. (Why is health completly restored after a battle?)



Etrian Odyssey 3 - Could I be finally done with this game? I've been down to the last floor and then back up to encounter the "True Final Boss" . And he mopped the floor with me. I'm probably a little underleveld but the journey has been more important than the destination. I think I'll just youtube the ending and move on.

Heroes of Might and Magic - Only started playing this last night. Seems okay with hopefully some complex strategy underneath the basic "match three colors" dynamic. Not sure if I'm in the mood for a SRPG right now though.
