Reminds me of the movie Jarhead. Best of luck man, it's hard to find quality people to keep in anybody's life nowadays, keep on trucking and avoid the self-destruction. Vegas, hookers and blow.

After nine years in the Marine Corps (3 1/2 years of finishing college in the middle there though, broken time) I can say that yes, the military pretty much ruins relationships.
Still, I'm glad that you're safe and will at least be back in the US very soon. Enjoy catching up on games. |

Sorry to hear that, Ninja. That really sucks. Don't give up on the idea of having a family and a faithful wife; you may feel like her leaving you now is a blessing in disguise someday when you're with someone who will stay faithful. Enjoy the good parts of being single, and stay strong, man.

Sorry to hear that too. Ninjarauchbox79, have you heard of Tom Leykis? He is a radio show host in Southern California and I believe that you need to know about military wives that most divorce (and have affairs while the men are in other countries fighting America's international conflicts).
The show is currently off because of a format change but he has a website for previous show recordings: hxxp://www.leykisonline.com/recordings/andromeda.php He gives advice for divorced men and relationships for women. I have a cousin in the military and basically he is married with a child on a way :( |

glad to hear you'll be coming back home safe. I'm really sorry about your wife, but if she can't be faithful, then I guess this is all for the better.
Thank you for all that you do, and have fun catching up on your gaming! |

Seriously, WTF has happened to women in this country??? I remember hearing stories from my grandparents generation about how women waited through the whole of World War II for their boyfriends to come home. Most of them never receiving a single letter or any indication that the guy was still alive. They managed to stay faithful - to just their boyfriend.
Nowadays, you can't even expect women to be faithful to their damn husbands if they're in the military. Even when they can call and email on a somewhat steady basis. That. Is. Messed. Up. But hang in there, man. |
