Yeah. It's one of the very few lines given to every single guard in the game, which... y'know, that's just a bad idea. The "arrow in the knee" thing is a line that gives character and history to the speaker. Giving that oddly specific piece of characterization and history to a third of the friendly NPCs in the game just doesn't work.

Isn't this just basically people thinking that by insinuating that they have played a popular game (popular for what reason, I do not comprehend), it instantly makes them cool/popular? It doesn't, but that's basically the whole premise behind 4ch anyway.

You've got it all wrong, AkariK. Half the people on facebook have said this without playing Skyrim. Hell, some of them don't even know what Skyrim IS. It's just viral bullshit like every other meme ever made, they think it makes them LOLSORANDUMXD
It's funny at first, but then EVERYBODY starts shitting it out of their pie holes until even the game developers themselves resent it. Notice how cake wasn't mentioned even once in Portal 2?
