I kind of have a general feeling that sum up this entire movie.
So, yeah it is fairly simple. I think that movie was so  ing confusing that I wanted to leave 20 minutes in. Of course Metacritic gives it an 85. I mean if the critics don't understand it and it has been obviously obfuscated purposefully so nobody really gets it. My friend read the book and was lost in the movie. Everybody coming out of the theater was like can you explain this?This movie is going to be successful because of want to be nerds. I know plenty of people who are like Boondock Saints was an awesome movie. Even if you do get it the movie was garbage. I personally call anybody a liar if they say they got this movie without reading the book first. You're a liar and I don't believe you. That is like the penultimate step in being pathological. Quite a leap. |

Was interesting, but i honestly came away with a general feeling of Zzzzz. I've heard the book is excellent, as well as the BBC series or whatever. but I got the feeling that a 2hr movie just wasnt enough time to develop the characters.
I love Gary Oldman, but his performance to me was really understated, which is fine as that who the character is, i suppose, still felt lil bit like a waste. |

I really wanted to like TTSS but it really is a damn boring movie. Weird because it's by the guy who made let the right one in and thats like that best movie ever.
