Gaming 2/19-2/25

5 Hours: Resistance: Fall of Man: The brutalness of this game made it take as long as it did for me to finish it off. I'm sure for some it's not a big deal but I found this game very difficult at parts. Like I said last week some levels were a breeze and some others were very frustrating. I did enjoy the last level though but only maybe because it seems like the "boss" battles in my most recent games have been pretty lackluster.
1 Hour: Dead Space: After taking a little bit to remember how to play, I finished off the 3rd level and made it to the 4th. I had the volume down lower then normal because my girlfriend was asleep, and there was an engine I needed to restart that was so freaking loud. That coupled with normal scary noises and I don't understand how she stayed asleep.
1 Hour: Gotham City Impostors: Horrendous online loading times aside, I had a lot of fun with this game. It's been a long time since I've played an online only FPS and it's a good time to jump back into one. Since there is no way to really beat the game, I will just play it till I get bored then move on.
1 Hour: Batman: Arkham City: Kept my Batman theme going yesterday and started up Arkham City. I feel like the end of Arkham Asylum didn't couple in with this intro, but that aside, it was just more of what made Arkham Asylum awesome. Except for the riddler trophies. I don't like how they are set up now for the most part.

So had the opportunity to beat a game and get in some other stuff from the backlog. Without having to worry about school for once in a long time it's weird being able to play my main games and cycle through my backlog. Maybe this year I won't have to get rid of any games at the end.. haha. Doubt it though. Just not as many. Also quite crazy that I've beaten 5 games already this year. I spent so much time on FF12 last year that at this point I had beaten maybe 1 game. Hell only 13 all of last year. This year should be excellent hopefully. Now it's time to take a break from the backlog with Gotham City Impostors. I think it's about time to back up my PS3 saves too.

Achievements/Trophies
Dead Space: All Systems Go (Bronze), Brute Force (Bronze)
Gotham City Impostors: Initiated (Bronze), Thanks for Playing! (Bronze), Customizer (Bronze)
Batman: Arkham City: I'm Batman (Bronze), Acid Bath (Bronze), Savior (Bronze)

Total: 8 Bronze

Awesome job this year! I'm really curious to see how many games you can beat this year with school and Final Fantasy out of the way... I think there is a very good chance you won't have to get rid of as many!

I'm thinking that too. Plus once if/when I get down to all the free games I got with my 3DS, most of the NES games can't really be beat so I could just play them a bit then buy something else.

Glad to see someone playing R:FoM, one of my favorite PS3 titles to date. The last level was a blast to play, very intense.
