My pal Justin "JBear" Smith of JBear vs. Craft Beer Show (A new show on BevNerd.com) hooked me up with a bottle of Abita Beer's Root Beer!
Abita brews beer (and root beer) around 30 miles outside of New Orleans, Louisiana using natural Louisiana spring water and LA cane sugar for their root beer! I'm not a huge root beer fan, but I tried this at a restaurant a few months ago and it was freaking amazing.

Butterscotch Root Beer sounds pretty fantastic! I will keep an eye out for it or anything similar.
Speaking of butter, Butter Beer from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter park was one of the best drinks I've had in 2010.  |
