Worst Resident Evil game?

I've been hearing a lot of poor reviews and bad things about the new resident evil Operation Raccoon City. I have not bought it and have not played it so I would not know. So I ask here for some help from those of you who have played Operation Raccoon city to voice your opinions as well as tell me if this is the worst Resident evil you have played or if there is another one in your opinion.
To start, my worst RE to date is 5, it was too easy, little to no puzzles, and felt too short. It also did not have the horror that part 4 brought back to the series. |

People are being too kind to RE ORC. That game is a sloppy mess. I only went through one mission though. But that was enough to see its lack of quality. People keep saying 'it's fun in coop' but anything is fun in coop.

3 was lacking a bit, yes as it became more of an action game. Though nemesis is my favorite resident evil, it did not make me jump as much as 1 or 2 did. Also Zero did not have any scare factor to it in my opinion, same goes for code veronica, but i do like the story in code veronica

Also RE Outbreak on the PS2 wasn't hot either. |

I have to go with the outbreak games.They had the potential to be really good games,but they had a lot of really stupid design choices,like not having mic support at all which is one of the dumbest choices they could've made.

to be honest the first survivor game wasnt horrible. I liked the fact that it was linked to leon and it left it open for Ark Thompson to come back, though the voice acting made me want to shoot myself.

Can we count the GBC one? I tried so hard to like that but ugh. It was just the wrong format for a RE game.
5 was a disappointment after 4 but I did at least finish it and I'll probably do so again eventually. RE:Gaiden was zero fun for me. |

theres lots of bad re games but also good ones too. i think the second outbreak game was the worst but i love re no matter what :)

Indifference makes a good point. For a proper control we need to ask ourselves. Is there a game that's bad in co-op?

i kind of have to agree a little bit, the coop in new super mario bros wii can get a bit annoying.

I disagree. NSMW was chaotic and it was not what we expected but I don't think it was bad. On the contrary aside from the difficulty (everyone says it's harder in co-op) this is actually the first time I've heard anyone say they didn't like it.
