Hey fellow cheapies ! As you all should know by now I'm one of the biggest wrestling fans on here so of course I had to watch "the showcase of the immortals" wrestlemania ! This year had the best card a wrestlemania has seen in years imo so there was alot of hype to live up to. Did it do it ? Let's get to it and see !!!!!!

Match 1: World heavyweight champion Daniel bryan (YES YES YES !) Vs Sheamus

These two were set to have a match for the us title at last years wrestlemania but it was scrapped which pissed me off so much so it was great that these two locked horns for the second biggest title in the company this year ! So How did the match go you ask ?

.sheamus pins bryan to become the new champ ..... No I'm not kidding

This was horrible ! These two are two of the best young talents in the industry today and you relegated them to a 18 second title match ? What a joke of a way to kick off the biggest show of the year. Not only did this devalue the belt itself but the WWE have completly destroyed bryans momentum. He is so talented but they made him into a joke. I don't know what these two did to piss off management but this is the second year in a row that these two got screwed. This could have been one of the top matches of the night but once again both men don't get to show their talents on the worlds biggest stage. What a ing shame. If this happened in New York or Chicago there would be chants of "bullshit ! Bullshit !" Everywhere. I'm happy that the great white won but not like this :(

Match 2: Mr spazz attack randy orton vs kane

Well I must say that I didn't expect much out of this match as this feud started for no reason at all and the build up was lame. I was hoping this could have been a falls count anywhere match with the match ending backstage in a creative finish or something (oh hardcore title 24/7 rule do I miss you). Well this turned out to be a solid back and fourth match with kane getting the majority of the offence (like any other randy orton opponent lol). Nothing too notible in this match except that randy had his usual "hearing voices spazz attack and he kicked out of kane's chokeslam during the middle of the match. Kane and orton would later get to the middle rope in a corner and kane would hit a chokeslam from the middle rope for a clean win 1,2,3 ! I thought for sure randy would hit some bull shit rko out of nowhere but not this time lol. Solid match with two vets but nothing more and I hope this meaningless feud is over.

Backstage segment: santino,mick foley and some guy eat some crab legs together to promote the epic show that is deadliest catch ! Socko and cobra would later double team on the legs together. Awww how cute ..... What am I saying this shit ! This wasted time could have went to bryan and sheamus. I mean really ?

Match 3: intercontinental champion cody Rhrodes vs big show

I was happy to see one of my favorite wrestlers today in cody rhrodes get some more wrestlemania spotlight like last year (when he owned rey mysterio). The bad thing is that he was facing the big show which is a bad match up for him as cody's offence was limited due to shows huge size. Because of this I wasn't expecting a really good match by any means but if cody retained his title I would be happy. Big show dominated most of this match as he was ripping cody apart like the way a fat dude does to a box of twinkees lol. Cody would later get show off his feet and do some submission moves on shows legs but it was to no aval as show was not really affected by it. Cody would eventually hit the disaster kick out of nowhere but all it did was knock some slob off of shows face (it was a stiff looking kick) ! He went for it again but show countered with a spear and he then finished my boy off with the FALCON PAWN errrr, humm sorry I ment W.M.D for the win. It was a solid match and shows wrestlemania bad luck is finally over. Hopefully with the ic belt of cody now he will get to main event status. If not then this title change was pointless

Match 4: divas tag match (aka piss break) Beth Phoenix and Eve Torres vs. Kelly Kelly and Maria Menounos

I dont know anyone who expected a good match here as only one of the 4 contestants in this match is acually a good wrestler (beth phoenix duh). That being said these 4 gave it all they had with Beth carrying most of the match. Maria acually stayed in the ring a lot and took a good beating dispite her ribs not being 100% at all so credit to her. In the end Kelly and Maria shoved Beth into eve to knock her off the apron and Maria rolled up Beth for the pin to win the match. Kelly and Beth had some nice counters during the match. It was better than I thought it would be but this match will not be remembered very long. It sucked that the worst in the match pinned the best one in it but the celebs are invincible at mania apperently :(

Match 5: end of an era match ( Yea !!!!) Undertaker vs hhh with shawn Michaels as the special guest referee

Wow I have so much to say about this but ill keep it as short as I possibly can lol. These two just beat the absolute ing crap out of eachother ! I can't count the amount of chair shots that were done in this match (I know it was almost 50) which obvoiusly set a gennis world record for chair shots in a match lol. At one point hb beat the dead man down with a chair and was screaming at shawn "end it ! End it or I will !" Shawn was asking taker to stop but he kept on saying "no shawn don't stop, don't stop the match" taker would eventually be knocked out and hhh would again scream at shawn to end it. Shawn almost rung the bell to end the match as me and everyone was gasping saying to themselves "omg no not like this ! Is taker really going to loose ?" But low and behold shawn didn't do it (thank god lol) hhh would then get pissed and he went for his good ol friend sledgy (sledge hammer).

He used it a few times and shawn pleaded and begged hhh to stop bf hhh shoved hbk aside (oh boy this could get ugly !) hhh would later hold the hammer above takers head to slam it into him (my mother freaked out at this point lmao). Hbk took it away to stop it as hhh was irate. Taker would eventually get back up and turn the tables on hhh. At one point hbk acually hit the sweet chin music on taker and taker would lean into a pedegree right after that ! I acually thought that taker would loose after that but no he kicked out are you kidding me ? !!!!!! Towards the end of the match taker was beating down hhh with a chair and hbk was sitting in a corner shaking looking all emotionally torn apart (his acting was incredible !).

In the end hhh went for sledgy but taker steped on it with his foot and took it away. Hhh looking so weak and drained gave out one last crotch chop to taker before he got hit with the hammer ! Taker would then do his throat cut and hit the tombstone for the win ! This match showed what old school storytelling in wrestling is all about. There wasn't a high risk spot or bloodshed in this battle but these three showed that none of that stuff is needed. It was just so emotional and exciting from the becoming to the end. Especially when all 3 carried eachother out of the ring and embraced eachother. It is indeed the end of an era as they dont make em like these 3 warriors anymore :( ...... Thanks to all three of you for making wrestling the way it is

Backstage segment: josh mathews interviews international raping sinsation flooooo Rida ! (He sucks lmao) during the interview no other than HEATH ing SLATER ! comes out to try to impress flo ryda. after doing some bullshit dance flo kicks slaters ass (as if that's hard to do these days). Tyler recks and curt hawkins would then come out to make fun of slater. Again wasted time that should have went to sheamus and bryan. Sigh ......

Match 6: Team Johnny vs. Team Teddy

Ok this match had the recipe to be one thing, a lame cluster. Did it deliver on that front ? ....... Yep. To keep it short. Towards the end everyone hit their spots blah blah blah, hornswaggle was used as a projectile as always and everyone gets knocked out outside of the ring. You know that stuff. Miz would later be in the ring alone with zack ryder in a epic battle for gm supremacy ! Ryder would hit the rough ryder on Miz for a 1,2, ohh so close as my boy dolph ziggler (please give him a high profile match next year at mania, pleasssse ?) Comes in with the save. Ryder knocks out dolf with the rough ryder and goes for the broski boot with eve comming in the ring to join in ! The ref would then tell eve to get out of the ring which distracted ryder alowing the miz to sneak in a skull crushing finalie for the win ! Post match eve kicks ryder in the sack (ouch baby, really ouch). Match was what I expected but atleast a heel gm controls both shows. What does this mean for teddy long ? We will find out this week

Backstage segment: as team johnny celebrates johnny ace sees cm punk and taunts him a bit. He then adds a stipulation that if punk gets himself disqualified he looses the title ! Oh come on man that's no fair :(

Match 7: Chris jericho vs wwe champion cm punk
Strait edge pick to win: gee I wonder who I picked ?

At the start these two do some old school mat wrestling but punk would quickly start to loose his cool as jericho taunts punk about his father. Punk would lay out y2j and go for a chair ! Jericho begged punk to hit him so punk would loose his title (remember the dq stipulation). I literally shouted at the tv begging punk to put the chair down and thankfully he did. Both men were evenly match going back and fourth with jericho hitting the walls of jericho a few times with punk countering everytime (I wouldn't expect nothing less from my boy punk !). Punk would then counter one into the anaconda vice for the victory !!!! Great back and fourth action with some great storytelling as both are so good at. The match was a little slower paced then I expected (due to jericho slowing the pace down in his matches a little bit over the past few years but hey he's still awsome !). Cm punk proves he's the best in the world and defends his fathers honor. Rematch at extreme rules ? I hope so !

Back in the arena: its time for brodus clay ! .... wait what now ? Good lord ..... The funkasaurus comes out with a cell phone calling ... His momma, yeaaa ok. He finds out she's in the back and brotus introduces us to her. some chick with a padded fake booty comes out to dance along with a bunch of look a likes to shake some fake ass. Again useless filler which should have went to bryan and sheamus. This was crindge worthy

Promo for the rocks new movie gi joe is shown. This time should have went to bryan and..... I don't need to say it lol

Match 8: the rock vs mr rapper/marine/fruity pebble (does he even know what he is ? lol) john cena

During cenas entrence another rapping sinsation machine gun kelly (he sucks too) proforms to waste more time. Cena comes out to boos, duh lol. After he enters flooo ryda proforms for the crowd (I felt really bad for bryan and sheamus at this point for their time being taken away with this useless crap). The great one finally comes out as the crowd (and myself) goes wild ! A stare down is stared and the bell rings. Both Exchange blows and go back and fourth with cena gaining control. He acually made the rock pass out with a grounded waist lock and almost beat the rock but he survived. Both men exhanged some aa's with rock bottoms for some close false finnishes ! Cena even kicked out of a peoples elbow to the shock of the crowd ! Cena would later knock down the rock to set up a peoples elbow of how own !!!! This generated massive heat and and made me lmao in my seat which I give cena credit for. As cena went for the Finnish the great one got up and rock bottomed cena for the win ! .... Wait the rock was acually put over by cena ? OMG !!!!

the match was good and fun to watch with a shocking result. I'll give 4 cena credit for putting a good effort out there and and to the rock for showing he hasn't skipped a beat ! The result probibly means a rematch next year which cena will probibly win. Great way to close out mania and I can't wait to see the build up towards extreme rules !
