Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U Exclusive
 I seroiusly have no idea how to feel right now. I am a little bit sick to my stomach. I am so excited that Bayonetta 2 exists, but before right now there was a 0% chance of me buying a Wii U. Obviouisly I can't justify $300+ just for Bayonetta 2, but the first Bayonetta is my single favorite game of this generation. I definitely don't know what to feel, it's definitely not happiness that's for sure. ...Maybe it won't be an exclusive forever. |

I was reading Nintendo was co-developing it but not sure how true that is. That would be bad newss for hoping it to go to other platforms.
That said they didn't show any gameplay yet. Either way I'm pretty butthurt over this. Good move Nintendo. |

Yeah, I don't think the game is anywhere near done, so it will be a while before it's out at least.
It's definitely a good move by Nintendo, but yeah I really don't see myself getting a WiiU until a couple price drops, so I'm disappointed as well. That other Platinum Games title is a WiiU exclusive too.  I forgot about that, I'm a huge fan of Platinum. |

tylerh: Yeah, it is (also, I'm a Platinum fan as well)  I played Project P-100/The Wonderful 101 at PAX and it's pretty spiffy. Unfortunately, it would be silly to buy a WiiU mainly for those two games. |

I'm pretty disappointed about this as well. I don't think I can justify a Wii U at this point, but I had a blast with Bayonetta and would love to play a sequel.

In the long run, I'll be happy that there's a Bayonetta 2 out there for me to play. And I'm glad it's still a long time off, so maybe by the time it comes out the WiiU will be a justifiable purchase.
But right now I agree with Blueshinra, it's be silly to buy a WiiU for those 2 games. There's not too much more that's really piquing my interests at this point. |

Well it is a smart play on Nintendo. Everyone talks about how their third party games suck, but this is a A title. I think it is a good sign for Ninty.

Yeah, I really hope this is a temporary exclusive. I would be all over a Bayonetta sequel, but have no plans to buy a Wii U. It is a great move by Nintendo, though.

That was probably the most surprising part of the press conference for me. Bayonetta 2 as a Wii U exclusive was surprising enough, Nintendo publishing it is another thing entirely.

I am refusing to get a Wii U since I hate the direction Nintendo has been taking, but this worries me. Even if it does get ported off the Wii U, we MAY get unlucky and get another Bayonetta 1, where the 360 version (the one I got) was great, and the PS3 one was crap (at first). Unlikely, but don't completely discount the possibility.
Still, in the meantime, I'll fill my Platinum urges with Revengeance. If I can avoid buying a Wii U, I will. |

@AkariK,Sega was responsible for the PS3 of Bayonetta which was why it was so bad at first.After that
Platinum made sure that the PS3 was the lead platform for Vanquish. |

I definitely understand where you and many other people are coming from about this. I myself am getting a Wii U at launch (this is one of the games I want) mainly for the Nintendo games and Monster Hunter (one of my favorite series) and currently have 4 games pre-ordered not counting these 2 and there are quite a few others I'm interested in so for me it's worth getting. Perhaps the first one didn't make a good enough amount of money as I remember hearing about Sega canceling it originally, so maybe they couldn't get funding to make a sequel except from Nintendo? Which at least would make the sequel a reality instead of never happening?

themaster20000 - I'm aware of that, but we don't know how it's going to work with Wii U being the lead platform for Bayonetta 2. It's definitely not going to be as smooth. We can hope that Platinum themselves will spearhead any porting, but worst case scenario they get someone like... Sega...

Honestly it is a shock and it's too bad Sega wasn't willing to publish it. Maybe I'll play it eventually if I hear the controls rock on the Wii-U. I'm currently not planning to buy a Wii-U, maybe I'll change my mind later.

very disapointed, enjoyed the first, would love to play a second, but being exclusive to a $300+ console that I have no interest in, is to rich for me, and seeing as Nintendo is publisher even timed exclusive is out of the question, maybe one day when Wii U is $99 and this game is bargin bin for $10 I will have a chance to play
